Internet Explorer has been rebuilt from scratch with modern technologies, but the average consumer hasn't a clue. They still believe that IE is the same browser that came with Windows XP over a decade ago. To shift this perception and get people thinking, we wrote an original song with singer-songwriter Laura Gibson, titled "things aren't always what they seem." The song is about misconceptions, including some of the cute false truths our team believed growing up. We shot, animated, and edited this piece on house. Bonus: it features some of the talented people that worked on the project, too! The result was a positive shift in social sentiment that spanned weeks and a significant increase in traffic to the campaign site.
