This HTML5 experiment uses the keyboard and mouse to manipulate audio and visual elements on-screen in realtime. The more you play, the more the experience responds. As you interact, the audio starts as a simple pulse and gradually adds layers in rhythm to create song; the visuals start as a heartbeat in a perfect grid and grows into a chaotic free-for-all of dots. If you experiment with key commands, you'll find that you have control over individual instruments and audio effects (thanks to the web-audio API). Stop playing with your keyboard and mouse and it'll return to the heartbeat. This project had an all-star team—eight people in four cities and three time zones collaborating together, constantly building on each other’s ideas. The video below will give you a taste, but you should experience it for yourself.
